I almost forgot, this guy goes down as the biggest #@&* of the week at least!
Walks into the doctors office with is very prego wife, twice my size poor lady, only 35 weeks along.
She says: It is hot in here
His answer: it is NOT hot in here that is just you.
Hello, it was hot in there, I was hot (surprise to most of you I know) but lets put an extra 30lbs on him!
He says: I want you to carry to full term
She says : why do you want me to be miserable?
He says: not my fault you can't fall asleep
This is where I had to stop listening because my hot, not sleeping hormones were about ready to take over... :)

36 weeks
appointment was just fine. Baby is still the same size as it has been for a month??? No one is confused by this but me. I gained more weight so I was worried it went right to the baby but looks like I got it! :)
Baby was sleeping through this appointment so the doctor had to shake the head so the hand would open... I won't be worried about how hard I push on the baby from now on, she shook my tummy with purpose!
The weather has gotten hot, I am so lucky it stayed cool for so long...
can someone please tell me where my ankles went?? :)

UPS Men
Now I am sure you all know I always have a crush on my men in brown, doesn't seem to matter where I am, Atlantic, Des Moines or Greenwich. Always seem to get very lucky on my delivery guys.
The regular guy here is great but he is on a three week vacation so his sub came in today.
Said his wife is 3 month prego with the third child. Asked when I was due... when I told him he said "wow, your tiny" Tiny!! Can you believe it! :) You can just tell he had gone through the whole process before, knows just what to say! Tiny is an overstatement.
Is there any doubt why I like the color brown so much!! :)
I needed the fun today, baby has been ornery! Glad to feel the movement, not really a complaint!
Dietitian called and is just amazed by my numbers with the glucose testing. I even made my homemade pizza crust and all. Still 108! I am not sure if I have ever said I think the whole GD is a racket...? :)

Jury Duty?...
Yesterday I had to go in to see if I would sit on jury. It was to be a criminal trial that under normal conditions I would have found very interesting. The trial would have lasted for between 2 & 3 weeks. That is the third time I have been called... CT does things a little different than IA but it was a pretty good day.
I think the baby may go into law... whenever the judges ( we heard from two) were speaking the baby was moving around like crazy! It would have been more comical but I was trying to keep my 'grunting' down as to not disturb the proceedings. :)
The judge was very kind when, he asked if anything in my life would make serving difficult. I said since the trial was to start on July 13th, that it was my due date... his face was priceless. (yes I do know that is not my true due date but Karla is sure the baby will come early...) Everyone in the courtroom laughed... maybe not the defendant, I didn't look at him too much!
Judge congratulated me, told me I looked great, asked me if it was my first, apologized for keeping me all day, thanked me for coming and attempting to serve, wished me luck, and dismissed me. I don't know think that my total time on the stand lasted for 5 minutes! Total time at court 7 hrs: 8:30 to 3:30. It was as always a good experience.

35 weeks doc apt
Went well. Baby waved at its Mom, was practicing breathing ( we watched the lungs move) Moved the mouth open and closed. Little face seems to be getting squished in there if you ask me, not a lot of room... this goes to Karla's theory they are behind on the due date!
Head is down though so all the little push fights Jeffery has been having with my tummy are with the feet. Make sense on why laying on the right side is more comfortable than the left. Feet and hands are holding off all the weight.
The feet or hands would run down the side of my tummy and Jeff would follow with his fingers. If he pushed the baby pushed back. I finally had to stop one of them( not the baby) I was getting beat up on the inside! :)
I seem to be growing in leaps and bounds. Getting hard to sit at my desk!
Probably the only person in CT who is grateful for the still cool weather. I don't think we hit 78 today! That is a blessing.!

32 Week & 34 Week Photos
Things that make me giggle.
The fact that my belly button is getting skinnier the bigger my belly gets. Of course I have to look in a mirror to see this.
Trying to bend over with out remembering there is something in the way.
Getting out of bed in the morning, thank you husband for the pushes!
Running into the sink because my arms are not growing with my belly. This applies to me trying to get closer to the desk at work also! It is like bumper cars without the cars...
Peering around a corner with just my belly. (This idea I get from Leanne who's belly with Jacob is the first thing I saw coming around the corner to meet me!) This one can make Jeffery really crack a smile!
When Jeffery tries to make the baby move positions when stepping on some part of my insides that shouldn't be stepped on!
When I look down at my belly and it looks like a deflated volleyball on one side because the baby in on one side. (this doesn't last very long, no room in there!)
The fact I really can't see my feet anymore! :)

Wahoo!
Spoke with the dietitian yesterday. she is amazed I am so strict! She is very happy with my numbers so I get to prick my finger twice a day instead of four!! I even told her about having M & M's! She said I shouldn't worry because my numbers were not affected by them. All in moderation! Very much a relief.
Can you believe June is half over?
I have a friend who is going to loan us a bassinet. This may work out great if they let me bring the baby into work for a few months after I come back... haven't heard anything about this yet.
We have a nice sunshine day today but not very June like as far as temperature. I am okay with that since I am usually very warm. Working out quite nicely thank you, we don't even have the air conditioners in the windows yet. I am sure we put them in during May last year!

33 week check up
All is well. I didn't gain any weight( not sure how I could on this diet) but the baby is one week ahead of schedule in estimated size. I was a little concerned but the doctor says the baby could just be going through a growth spurt. ( I have been feeling very stretched lately!) We are going to do another ultra sound in two weeks to check the size out a little better. My peace of mind is very important. :) Don't want to have the baby grow to big! Heart beat was nice and strong.
She did explain the GD test to me a little better, I guess your body should be able to absorb that amount of sugar from that awful drink whether you have eaten in the last 12 hours or not.
We bought a new baby mobile this weekend. Nice car, I am giving up my two door stick shift romance for a four door. Very nice brown color to match the curtains in the baby's room. Not to mention, has a very good "get up and go" under the hood. :) Thank you husband. Of course I am not to sure that was all for me... :) Don't tell but I will miss my stick shift!
The baby has found my bladder a lot this week. I am sure all of you who have been and are pregnant again [:)] remember that lovely feeling!
Will post the 32 week picture soon... I am growing in leaps and bounds!!

More fun than the movies
We are enjoying watching the baby move and I mean move. Lord of the dance look out, sometimes I get it on both sides at the same time! :) My favorite has to be when a big 'bump' moves across my tummy! Since Aunt Karla likes the movies so much we have labeled this move the 'alien'
Sometimes Jeffery tries to scare more movement out of the little one by getting really close and growling... baby seems to retreat to the back when he does that! I can't feel the move my belly just gets 'lose'. While other times it is very 'hard'.
I find it very funny how some days I am pretty big and others I look like I am not even half way done yet depending on where the baby is sitting.
Diet is going... okay. I have given myself a few freedoms that I haven't spoken to the dietitian about yet, fudge sticks ( low fat) and a glass or two of milk during the day when I am not supposed to. My numbers are normally between 90-120 so I am not to worried. As long as they are under 140! Trust me everyone is better off with me having more milk! :) I will let the dietitian know, if we have another meeting. :)
