Pieper decided that our white kitchen needed some color this morning so while I was feeding Peter she thought orange would be the perfect color and used her crayon to color the walls and most of the cupboard doors and the dishwasher. Good old Mr Clean Eraser to the rescue! He had already saved the chairs once before but I think they were blue... one might ask how she was able to get the crayon... I miscounted after we colored this morning. :) Have a great day!!!

I bought to many tickets as they didn't take any tickets for me to ride... so she went on the giant slide, a roller coaster (this was a little fast) the carousel and the most favorite for all involved was a maze bounce house she went on four times! I had to run around the house the first time through to get her to keep going but after that she was a pro! :)
Perhaps the most fun was sitting here this morning putting these pictures up... she was so very excited and was telling me what was going on in the pictures... :)

Story time

Who says story time is for the children...? Pieper read to me last night as we were putting her to bed. A Wasett in the my closet and Three little bears... priceless.

Stickers

Good morning from the house that has been getting new siding all week... and they are only half done! We have been leaving the house as early as possible and staying away as long as possible this week to avoid the pounding of nails.
I have gotten to see some very nice areas within an hour and a half drive time, bonus is both kids sleep for at least an hour and half!
Back to stickers, I love them, they are fun and can distract Pieper for a good five minutes however I am getting tired of stepping on them. I am not fond of stepping on things anyway... crumbs, spots of water (?), paper (it can be slippery!), toys... so it really isn't against stickers only but stickers stick to my feet. Now the inventor of stickers would say duh right here... hence the name stickers but I doubt the intent was to stick to feet of unsuspecting parents.
Maybe my dislike of stepping on things is because I grew up stepping on pins from whatever mom was sewing at the time... (best prom dresses and wedding dresses ever mom!!! ) I just remember pulling pins out of my feet all through high school... or maybe I just don't like it.

Pieper 25 months

I suppose at some point I will have to stop these...
She is still growing about an 1/4" every month by our chart here at home... wonder how long that will keep up?
She is a very good climber, not to fearless though so that is good.
She loves to swing at last, slides have always been a favorite.
She is starting to not eat as much and still goes for most vegetables first, especially beans!
She likes to tell us; no, stay there, please, thank you, more is always followed by please (because that always works with me..)

Pete loves to stand in his walker.
He watches us eat, he starts on cereal next month.
Must be cutting teeth as he is chewing ALL the time but he is still in a pretty good mood.
Not sleeping a lot during the day but still sleeps from around 9PM to 5 AM most nights, or he wakes up at 2AM and then sleeps until 7AM ish...
He likes to pound with his hands and arms on everything.
