Last day of work

Last day today, brought in some money which makes me happy. Ended well!

Mom landed today, even had a guy with a sign waiting for her when she got off the plane.

No more sitter weekly payments.

NST went okay this morning. baby did not want to move, took two glasses of orange juice to get a reaction but the doctor checked me out before I left.

Last pre baby appointment Thursday. Pray for some dilated fun ... :)

39 week doc appt

Went pretty good, baby is measuring 7 lbs 10 oz.... with a week to grow.

Not dilated in the littlest bit. Baby wasn't moving around a lot so I had to go to the hospital and have another NST, little bit of a scare for me, I was to busy at work today to drink a lot and baby let me know that wasn't how things were supposed to go. Baby was moving normal after three large glasses of water and I only had to stay hooked up for 45 minutes. Lesson learned, start slowing down at work. Just three more days and I will be done.

Doc has decided to take the baby on Friday, she will be at the hospital all day so she thought it would be best. I am glad, I really like her and this means I won't have the same gal as last time, she was fine but I like this lady much better.

So unless by some miracle I go into labor by myself, there it is in a nutshell. I guess my babies don't like to come out by themselves.

NST today, one more left!

all went well, baby was doing the right thing. only one contraction today while I was there.

Have kind of told work I will be taking vacation days next week starting wednesday. Jeff and I discussed maybe starting on Friday but I still have to much to do, I have a problem releasing control... They have decided to make the showroom by appointment only while I am gone and I am starting to hand over a lot of my clients, I do not like doing this as it means someone else is going to get the benefit of my hard work and that individual does not work hard but I do have bigger fish to fry! Just stinks.

I am ready, sleeping is down to about 4 hours a night and I am over emotional, Mom says that means I am close. I am hoping everything just holds off until the 22nd as that is when she will be coming out. She is excited to see NYC from the air! Jeff flies so much we even got her on best side of the plane to see it! I am just excited to have her here. Oh the fun Pieper will have!

39 weeks on Thursday and another doctors appointment!

19 Months

She would much rather look at the pictures on the camera than have her picture taken, I hope this phase moves through fast.

At the start of this video she is upset because Jeff won't let her look at the pictures, this is what we go through when I want to take a picture, very frustrating....then she hears mama put M&M's in the bowl and the fun begins....

36/37 Weeks

Yes, I have a beach ball in my tummy, forgive me holding my belly but if I don't the dress looks like a little tent!

Pieper's new bed!

She could hardly wait until we had it put together and she jumped up on it and started to show off. We have had it up for a couple of weeks but while she will play in it she will not yet sleep in it!



I am sorry I have not gotten more pictures up lately, work has finally realized that I will soon be on maternity leave and has been running me around. That coupled with the fact that Pieper now likes to look at the pictures on the camera rather than have them taken of her! This is very frustrating for a person who loves to take pictures.

Today's Doctor Appointment (38 weeks, -1 day)

All looks great, she didn't measure the baby today as she did it last week and I think they are trying not to scare me! :) Kidding. We watched the baby breath and checked fluids. I gained 1 lb. I am not even remotely dilated. Baby is very comfy where it is!

I asked how we would know when I was going into labor because Mom is coming out and we are trying to time that so it works. Because I have never actually went into labor ( i was induced with Pieper) we have no idea. I did find out they do not let women of my age go past the due date... here we go again! She said we will discuss options next week after they see where everything is at.

this baby does not sit still long enough to get good pictures, that and there isn't as much room, I can remember with Pieper we have a lot of pictures of her pretty profile but not with this one, no time for pictures, I must be happy with just seeing the baby every week!

37 weeks 5 days NST

Okay so I have been off, the nurse and I took about five minutes this morning to figure out I am not 36/37 weeks I am 37/38 weeks! (Jeff would have known)

Way to many things to remember. She put it in the computer so I don't have to remember next time.... why they didn't do this the last two time I have no idea!

Baby preformed very well this time around after they gave me orange juice, jumped all over the place and I was in and out in about 40 minutes! This is a record for me.

I am pretty sure I have started to waddle, I got 2 ' you look adorable' s and 1 'are you a doctor' this morning. Taking pity on the waddling woman no doubt. I did however have my red pashmina on that I got for my birthday last year and my black dress that I feel makes me look at least 2 lbs lighter. :)

Feeling pretty good. I over did things a little this weekend with getting a dresser for the baby and all of the clothes cleaned and with Pieper's help put away. She is becoming very helpful, she loves to run from one room the next with arms full of clean folded clothes. Sometimes they even stay folded! I was better by Monday. Just VERY stiff and sore. Sure did feel my age had increased by 10 years that day! :)

I have been playing the prego card with my clients this month trying to close as many projects as I can! It has been working to an extent. :)

Beautiful weather today, so much sunshine. Most people are walking around with smiles on.

36 weeks NST & Doc appt

NST went great today. Baby didn't take very long at all! I was out in about 40 minutes, that must be a record!

Doc appointment today was good as well, doc liked what she was seeing. Not dilated yet, sure do hate that part!

Are you all sitting down....

Baby weighs 6 lbs 8 oz. Of course that is a guess based on measurements but holy smokes this is going to be a big baby. Who knows maybe my body is shooting for a perfect 10! (lbs that is)

My doctor asked me if I was worried, I guess I was asking more questions than normal but she was really very happy with where the baby was at and said everything looked great.

I may be getting a little nervous but I think Jeff's last trip is next week and it is a short one so really seems silly at this point. I guess because I know what is coming....? :)

Head is down, back is laying on the right side, arms and legs to the left. Little fingers moving, heartbeat and breathing was what I was able to see today. I don't get the copies of the pictures like I did with Pieper, not sure why but while I have gotten to see this baby more I have fewer ultrasound pictures.

Pieper still gives the baby kisses in the morning and says her very cute soft "Hi". Says bye bye when I pull up the prego pants over the belly. we really need to get that on film.

I can not believe I will be 37 weeks on Thursday.
