food
Squash, green beans and peaches. We will try peas next! Not to fond of the green beans or the peaches, makes funny faces but eats them anyway!
sleeping and toes
Pieper still loves to cover her head up to go to sleep, doesn't matter if you go in and take it off, she will cover again. Thanks to one of Grandma's blankets it doesn't lay on her face. now she has started putting her feet up on the crib slats, only once has she woken up to a stuck foot! Haven't caught that on film yet!
Having fun.

A Cold
Pieper has caught Jeff's cold. Poor little baby, her nose is running and she is having a ruff time sleeping. It has not effected her eating habits! :)

Carrots!
She loved them! Ate them right up or so Jeff said, I was at work in the showroom today.
We had to stop feeding her the food with her oatmeal at night, she was waking up every four to five hours again. At least it was our theory if we feed her the food with her early meal she will sleep better. It worked yesterday, we will wait and see how tonight goes.
We tried to take her out in the snow yesterday... there was maybe to much wind, I think it scared her and I wasn't even two steps away from the door. So back inside we came.
It was a great snowfall! :)

Apples
Pieper started eating applesauce with her oatmeal. today was her second serving. She gagged less today with the exception of the first couple of bites! Very funny. I am going to start with A and work my way through the alphabet. trying one thing a week or every four days, I think that is how long I have to wait between foods to ensure no allergic reaction. I made the applesauce yesterday and froze them in ice cube trays. We will see how this works. :)

6 month
Today was Pieper's doctors appointment. She had three shots, she has a small bruise but other than that we are very lucky she reacts very little to shots.(knock, knock)
She is 29" tall, 21 lbs, in the 90th %.
We can't seem to get Pieper to roll over. But I told the doctor she likes to walk. I am not sure she really believed me until she put Piper up on the table. She sat up like a big girl and when the doctor stood her up she started walking towards me so fast she almost escaped! The doctor was very surprised and said ( as she laughed) she doesn't roll over because she doesn't want to, not because she can't. She will probably walk early... just what we were thinking.
She asked if she was talking... now I must explain, when we go into the doctor's office she is a very stoic child. My reply was I have heard her say La La La once but that is about it. Well she thought it was a little early for that, she just meant is she making noise, growling things like that... Pieper has been 'talking' since she was three months old! :) she is my daughter.
So all in all she is doing great! :)

Temper?
I think Pieper is starting to have temper tantrums... as long as they don't grow with her I think it won't be so bad! Right now they just make us laugh, lets hope it stays that way.
I am a little bummed she smiles more when you say Da da da than Ma ma ma but both smiles are cute!
She almost got up on her knees today, one knee and two hands... then she realized what she was doing and promptly started 'skydiving'.
She has Jeff's hair, straight as a board but there will be a lot of it, I can't believe how much has come in since Christmas. ( we see the difference in pictures)
She holds her own bottle (mostly) I think the small bottles help. She is still sleeping with Eeyore. Very cute how she cuddles.
Work is getting better for me, I am getting better and working during the times Pieper makes available to me. Of course the fact I brought in a nice big sale on the first day of the month doesn't hurt! :)
Jeff is doing well in his position. He gets to travel about once a month, he loves that. He is also trying out a new computer system for the company, helping them work out all the bugs.
I have been fighting a cold for two weeks now, maybe longer. Has stayed in my throat mostly and does a very good job of annoying me. Pieper loves it because she had just learned how to cough and now her mom talks back to her in 'cough talk'. :)
