15 Months

Pieper is doing fine, growing just right.... she is 33" tall and growing.

She also remembers the doctor's office so the appointment wasn't all that fun. As soon as I put her on the 'bench' to take her clothes off she started crying... doctor said she remembers the previous shots. Needless to say the three shots we had today were no fun. We have to go back for a flu shot next month... really seems like a lot of shots to me but I never have liked needles.

We went to Jeff's office today in her Cindy Lou Who costume, Jeff wore a Grinch t-shirt to complete the look and it was a success. Pictures will follow. She did VERY GOOD considering she just had three shots in her arm and no nap, I am pretty sure we are in big trouble when the second 'angel' arrives. Pieper is a performer.

Hide and seek

Pieper loves to hide. Right behind your back. She gets very quiet(even holds her breath) and then when you ask 'where's Pieper?' she will giggle after a while and poke her head around your shoulder and laugh. Priceless.

For the first time she turned off the TV. She pushed the button on the TV then turned and looked at me. I don't know if she did that today with KEM or not but she knew right where the button was... she was VERY proud of herself.

Pumpkin Patch

She loved it, would have picked up every small pumpkin and put it in the wagon if Jeff hadn't taken the wagon away when we had our pumpkins!

Mom made friends with people who were fishing for crabs... i think...

Mom & Dad were out for a visit!!!!!!

We went to West Point, Mom & Dad hadn't been on post before, we had a great day for a drive. :)
Pieper loved looking out the window with Grandpa and watching the squirrels & birds.

Of course Grandpa and Grandma both had to read to her... I am not sure where all of the pictures of Grandma went to....?

15 weeks

I know I am behind as I am 18 weeks yesterday and I will try and catch up! As you can see this time around is popping out much quicker! Still feeling good, getting hungrier... I swear I could eat every hour on the hour some days!

Misc fun

Pieper loves to read, in the morning in the afternoon and in the evening!

She also chews on her puppy, this is usually a sign her teeth are starting to hurt!
When KEM puts her hair up she will leave it until I get home... then it comes out as soon as KEM leaves for the day!

Loves to take baths! Her hair is getting longer so it is more fun to play with, yes, she is chewing on the shampoo bottles...

Jeffery has been on the blog again.

You can turn the light on, hear the heartbeat, and a giggle. seems a little silly to me but that is why I love him! :)

I got it!

Last night I couldn't get the widget posted, as you can see tonight I had success! we have an appointment next tuesday, this is the fun one where they count all of the fingers and toes. I don't know if we have decided to find out what we are having ( okay, I haven't, Jeff always wants to know) :)

I am thinking Pieper is hitting the terrible twos... she is getting quite an attitude in her little body, which by the way must be growing the way she is sleeping!

Bath time

Pieper has always loved her bath, she has started 'washing' her knees and belly. she takes her hand and rubs on her knee and picks up her foot to 'wash' in-between her toes. She doesn't wash the rest though so for now we will keep helping her! :) Still very fun to watch.

Work is insane

They have let the manager of the Greenwich showroom go so I am now Manger of New England outreach and manger of the Greenwich showroom. I still work two days in office and three days from home, they didn't want to pay me any more money to come in an extra day. ( sitter costs money!)

I am a little busier but I am sure I will adjust in time. Nice to be able to get things into shape like they were when I left to have Pieper.

Pieper will soon be a big sister. We are expecting our second child in late march. All appointments are going well. Little heart beats and legs all growing nicely. 7oz at my last appointment. 17 weeks along. Will have pictures up soon.

Things are showing up much quicker this time around, I will soon be in maternity clothes at this rate, everyone says it is because everything has a memory of being stretched out!

I was really tired this time around in the beginning, it has gotten a little better but there are days when I need a nap! Other wise I think things are going pretty much the same as with Pieper.

I sometimes catch Pieper looking at my belly in a strange way, we tell her there is a baby in there and she seems to like that, just not sure if she still thinks we are talking about bellies, she has always liked bellies and belly buttons!

Just a thought

I of course always think Pieper is cute but there is something about watching her figure things out that makes my world stop.

Something as simple as climbing up on the couch, swinging her leg up and then grunting ( she gets that from me!) until she gets herself where she wants to be... she is so very proud when she gets up there!

She has a cold

Little doodle has a cold. She sneezes and her little nose is running off or her cute little face

She isn't sleeping well at all. Send positive vitamin C thoughts her way! :)

Pieper picks up!

She is very helpful, she likes to put lose paper and things in the garbage under the sink. This is of course very nice, with the exception of this morning, she took a stack of my work papers and started putting them one by one in the trash... that was after she picked them up off the couch and put them on the floor several times and even scrunched them up!
