In honor of the fact that we are getting more snow...

 Before the roof was scooped

We had a skiff this morning and are expected to get 2-3 inches the first day of spring... :)

How our winter is going... from early Febuary

 Warming up after coming inside, there is hot chocolate with marshmallows somewhere...

 Building snowmen... it had started sleeting when we started to make it, he only stood up one day and he slide down into a pile...

At the start of the storm is when they can shovel the best.

Daddy bought his new toy this year... makes those heavy snowfalls a lot easier!
We have had two more large snowfalls since this storm and may even get another on Monday!

Well, yes it would if they had someone to run the 38 year event... very poorly organized but the kids didn't notice, just mom and dad.

 I stopped walking through the back yard as the snow was over my knees, there fore in my boots!

 Pete saw Jeff's footprint in the snow so he had to put his hand AND footprint.

They thought it was great fun to chase each other and try to jump onto the sled while it was moving...

Pieper Feburary

Loves to read.
Tries to be helpful unless she is tired then she is full of drama.
Thinks her school outfits need to be 'fashion' ...still...
Will still try almost anything.  Sometimes I think she is a bottomless pit.
Loves kale, will even eat some kale salad but it is the chips that are the biggest hit with everyone... I just wish they didn't take so long to make a big enough batch.
Very much wants to ride the bus home from school.
Would wear the footed pjs that Aunt Lelanne gave her everyday if I let her.
Always makes cards for Daddy, Mommy and Pete and will sit for hours just asking you how to spell things to put in the card...

I am pretty sure will will have a hand written poetry book bigger than the one I wrote when I was young...
Does not like to pick up her room but will pick up parts.
Likes to show us her ballerina moves...we may have to try a dance class soon...
Says she loves Jimmy from her class.
Has been planing her birthday party since we got back from Iowa in December.

Growing so fast... she already has more loose teeth.

Pete Feburary

Says everything he doesn't want to do will 'take forever'
Still throws three year old tantrums even though he will be four in march.
Loves school.
Sings the songs they teach him at school at the most fun times.
Still loves to watch the fire.
Loves to help Daddy fix things...told me just the other day 'Daddy and I put that trim on the window...why did we do that?'
Loves to be cold unless it is his back as he is playing outside in the snow then he must come in right away.
Dances the karate chop dance...yes, he did make it up all by himself.
Will randomly talk to Grandpa on the phone.
Wants to go where ever Grandma and Grandpa are... he wanted to go to Florida when he found out they were there then he had to go to Arkansas because that is the next place he knew where they were.
Likes to put the trash can bag in the trash can after you take out the trash.
Always wants a double bath or shower even though Pieper doesn't like those as much anymore.
Loves to torment his sister and will change it to 'I am giving her hugs' if he gets caught trying to wrestle with her when she doesn't want too.
Has a hard time sitting down for dinner when everyone else does, he is more of a late night eater.
Randomly remembered the other day that Aunt Jean and Uncle Rudy had a blue car when they visited last fall.
Must complete certain tasks with out help or will get upset.

 He likes to help 'fold' clothes.

 Very excited to give his valentines for school.

 Sometimes you just have to sit on a dinosaur.
