Iowa State Fair

We did have fun...even if it doesn't look like it here.

 tunnel
Fresh lemonade and waiting for pork chop. (I love this one.)
 Sitting in a combine...
The BIG slide...Pete and I are in front and Olivia and Pieper are next.
 In the Old Mill.

Pete was asleep so Grandma and Grandpa were waiting outside.

IA times.

 Pete can't squeeze the ball...
 Swingin' with Grandpa
Pete would fall asleep on the tile floor but this time he choose the fireplace.

 Dinosaurs after a bath.

 Fishing with Grandpa
Decorating cookies with Grandma.

To the lake

First boat ride.

By the trip back from the beach Pieper was a pro. She LOVED it.

Look at that, ALL grand-kids in one spot with Grandma and Grandpa. Thanks Karla and Joe for hosting at the cabin!

IA visit- potato time

Yep, the kids learned how to dig potatoes and it became quite a production.

Everyone was involved, and I must say it brought back some pretty fun times from when we were younger...
 Moving to the next spot.

Zoo..

Forgot these two pictures... yes, there is a shark coming right at them.

My Isaac...as Pete calls him.

Come on Mom take the picture...
Can you believe we have to sit here this long...?

The look says it all.
I had to post this today, at breakfast out of the blue Pete said 'miss my Isaac'. :)

HD Zoo in Omaha year 18.

Cousins in the desert.
First time through the swamp with the lights on, it is normally very dark so I HAD to take the white alligator's picture.
Meliska, Hunter and Hedi joined us!
Most of the crew.
Swingin'
Hunter on the swing.
Petting some sea creatures.

Looking at the fish, Pete loves fish.

Before we saw the dinosaurs... if you have the chance you must do this!  Sorry for all of the photos but it really is cool.

You could move a couple of them.

Pete got scared twice, just enough to want to go to Daddy and then he was fine after we walked by... raptor and t-rex scared him... go figure.

 They really were big.

Pete is telling that silly t-rex 'no no' for roaring.

Our crew this year was a little smaller but we had a great time anyway.
