Summer heat already!

Not too sure how much longer they will fit in there together but we will enjoy it while we can!

Sunday, fun day!

First time at new Yankee stadium.  Thanks to Wilton PTA we were able to go and Pieper saw a bunch of kids she knew sitting all around.

 Pete did not want his picture taken, Daddy was tricking him here to get him to look at me, your welcome Jeffery for cutting you out of the picture! :)

 We were there early, which we really liked.  Took an hour train ride down, no changing trains, it was a straight shot! I am not going to lie, it was awesome.

Yep, it was kinda chilly and a little rainy but we were just fine.

Pieper in Spring 2016

 Waiting for the bus in the morning can see you in all sorts of weather. 

She loves riding the bus to school.
She likes to try to teach Pete what and why something should be a certain way.  She provides a very lengthy explanation.
Always gets to run around the school doing things for kids and teachers...I don't quite understand this yet but I always hear how helpful she likes to be... :)
Common core math seems to be a bit of a struggle at first but then her face lights up when she gets it...
Will still read to herself after books at night for a good half and hour.
Has an outfit in mind every morning, sometimes I have to edit, other times I "let it go"
She does most things for herself, I still like to rinse her hair after washing...
Wants to grow her hair out long for summer again...so much thick hair....
Likes her soccer class.
Loved her ceramics class.  Both were after school extra classes.  That is it people, I am not ready to be crazy busy.
Gram and Grandpa came out for a visit and the morning they left she walked into her room and said "Hello room, its Pieper, I'm back.  :)  She gives up her room for our guests!
Likes to sing in music, we have only been able to go to one concert.  Most of them are closed to all but the students and staff...we do live in CT.

 They got to make their own shirts.  She says she is the tallest in her class... only 20 in her class still 13 (?) or more 1st grade classes to compare...

 She is such a caring special young lady we are so proud and I am soon to be the second shortest one in the family.  I think she is almost to my shoulder! Something she often reminds me of...

 These are the valentines Pieper made this year for Daddy, Pete and Mommy.

She also got to make a valentines house at a class in school...can you say sugar...?

Pete Feburary

Told me last night he "loved me from the ocean floor all the way up to God"
Does not like it when someone calls him a name that is not his own, even if it supposed to be funny.
Likes to tell you he is a big boy.
Is better at writing his name, first name only.
Still loves blue.
Wants to be whatever Pieper is going to be when her grows up.
Likes to play with toys that Pieper doesn't let him play with when she is at school.
Favorite food is Nutella sandwich. This should be a food group in our home.
Lets me cut his hair all I want if he gets to play a game on the kindle.
Likes to floss and brush, he doesn't want to get any cavities.
Thought his birthday was the day after Jeff's and got upset about waiting another month.
Likes to play battle, we find them set up all over the house. Lines all sorts of toys up to fight each other.
I asked him to run down and check to see if the washer was still running... he put his ear to the floor in the kitchen, then informed me it was still running.
Tells me sometimes he uses up all of his manners in school so he might not have any left at home.  I seem to remember hearing that from Pieper as well...

 Sometimes we get big puddles in our road, complete joy to the kids.

Kids are growing so fast I seem to forgotten to blog and even take pictures, trying to jump back in!
