All went well yesterday. the tech thought everything with Pieper's hip looked fine. will wait to hear from the doctor to be sure. :)
She has slept two nights in row around 10 hours or more, we are keeping our fingers crossed.
a quick peak at her Halloween outfit, she is a pumpkin m&m!

Out with the old in with the new.

We donated my car to the humane society of CT. I was sad to see it go, it was a very good car. I do like the new one, just haven't gotten used to driving it yet! :) I am glad not to have three cars sitting out in front of our house though! Hope the car is very useful to someone and gives lots of animals much needed help!

11 Weeks

Where has the time gone! We had our doctors appointments last week. We are going in for an ultra sound of Pieper's hip tomorrow, just a precaution, the doc wants to make sure her hips are developing correctly. Everything else is going along nicely.
She slept for seven hours last night, she hasn't done that since the day before we went to VT. I hope this is the beginning of longer nights, she has been sleeping around 4 or 5 hours at a time. No complaints though as both are better than the every two hour gig!
I am to start back to work next week, should learn more about what that is all about this week. I really need to work on getting a nanny at some point, I will only need one a day a week at most. How about everyone I know just chooses a different week to fly out for a day? :) My doctor told me about a site that she worked at while going to school, there are back round checks and everything and a big list of options. I have a couple possibilities there that I am hoping will work.
Pieper is going to take credit for the Hawks win this week... we didn't have our hawkeye outfit on at the start of the game as she was taking her nap but as soon as we had our bath and were in the proper attire ( the second half) they started playing much better! I am trying to teach her how to clap at the good plays... she just smiles at her crazy mother, but I will take that!
The doctor did say she had pretty blue eyes... now I still think they are gray but she said they were more blue than most babies her age so there is hope! :)

Visiting Aunt Leanne and Uncle Steve in VT

Pieper and I drove up to Vermont to see them on their Trek bike tour. The country was beautiful and she enjoyed riding in the car. We almost made it all the way without stopping! About 4-1/2 hours. Her first night in a motel to! We ended up being across the hall which worked out great!

This is my story...
