 They conspired....

 And repeatedly chased.

 Only to go back to playing with their 'brooms'

 Pete took her broom.

stop...rewind...repeat.   Good way to use up and hour or so in the day.

Pumpkin Patch.

 Pete only picked out the white pumpkins... He almost looks like a pumpkin himself in this picture.

 Pieper be careful of you head in the hay tunnel... and yes, I did like playing in the 6" of corn just as much as the kids.

 running was the theme of the day.

                                     

 I was trimming trees with my new handy trimmer

and they thought they should help pick up!

 Pieper thought she should be in front... it did work better that way.

Two pieces of Styrofoam...endless possibilities

If I tell you how long this game of  'cover the baby for night night' went on I don't know if you would believe it.  The laughter was contagous.

Pieper 4 years 2 months

You are not allowed to look at Pieper until she has her full outfit on for the day.
She likes to clean her plate first so she can show Pete what the plate should look like after dinner.
Sets the table without being asked in the morning.  Not at dinner time...?
Loves school.
Talks about one of her other friends from school and how she misses her.
Still likes to play princess.
Loves to ride her bike.
The teachers call her a rainbow of color because when asked what color she was when lining up at school she says she is a rainbow.
She loves mommy... no really it is what she just said, however there are those times she says I roar like a lion that I am pretty sure she doesn't like me so very much!
Loves soup.
Also loves Pete... !  (just said it) I would add that does not always apply.

 Rides the bike all over the place, we have already moved the seat back again.

 'Mommy, take my picture when I am not smiling. I was happy to do this as Jeff has just taught her how to smile silly, which she now does when you take a picture...almost every time.

They made pies at school.

Pete 2 years 7 months

Sticks his bottom lip way out. 
Roars like a dinosaur.
Loves to put his hands on his hips and tell Pieper what to do.
Loves to take Pieper to school, wash his hands and run in to play with the sand.  He has charmed all of the teachers.
Will not take a nap during the day.
Will not go to bed at night alone.  This is a struggle.
Speaks all the time but doesn't pronounce as good as he should.
Always eats cereal and crunchy things but will go without food unless you feed him...
Still pours out his milk if given the chance... I would think this should be ending soon.
Always says he is sorry when he does something wrong.
Says 'alright' when you ask him to do something.
IS every bit of TWO.
Loves to tease his sister.
Wants to be a dragon, roar and play ruff, until Daddy gets 'too scary'.

Loves to draw.

Loves tools of any kind and always wants to help with them. ( our borrowed log splitter... best invention ever)

Has his mama wrapped around his little finger.

Playing in the rain. We have had a bit...

 Who knew if Daddy was in the garage making faces the pictures would get much better!
