Is becoming a little person.
Gives random kisses to Pete.
Still hasn't had her hair cut.
Is all of the sudden playing more with her baby doll.
Likes to also play grocery store.
Doctor is still her favorite game, the fact that she has been to the ER really has expanded her story!
She knows who both presidential candidates are and names them on sight.
She gets up very early and comes out to turn on the TV before Jeff or I are up.
When she gets the mail with Daddy she runs it all the way back down the lane to give to me.
Loves to help with everything.
Likes to twirl, 'like a princess'.
wants to wear dresses everyday, to make the twirling more fun of course.
Some of my favorite things she says;
Just a moment.
Hospital.
Ambulance
Olivia.
Thank you so much mommy.
No mommy, you stay over there.
In a minute mommy I am doing something.
Dcbmxdvz; xxxxx. .! !"',""
Above is an example of how quick she is to grab the IPad.
She loves to jump off of things, Pete is never far behind in this game.
She still tries to sneak a poke or hit or 'smoosh' on Pete when she thinks no one is watching.
Loves shoes.
As I live and breathe she as walked by me three times this morning to go potty without being asked. I hope I didn't just jinks myself. ;)

Pete 17 months
Loves to climb
loves to dance
A lot of things are still 'ba' but more sounds and syllables are coming out
Loves to talk on the phone
Jeff says when he comes home from a trip he can really tell how much he is growing
He HAS to feed himself his yogurt. He is very much a utensil using boy.
He always helps pick up, I am very glad that hasn't changed yet.
Loves the vacuum.
Still follows Pieper around and is still tackling her.
Is fearless when we are at the park, the new thing is standing up when going down the slide.
Will climb up into the car when we are going somewhere, of course he always gets in the drivers seat.
Still talks to the chickens.
Climbs up behind you and peeks around and says 'boo' for peek a boo.
Still putting things in his mouth.
Loves to read in the morning.
loves to brush his teeth, with any toothbrush he can reach.
If anything doing the house renovation shows us how much Pete likes tools of any kind, especially those that make noise!
when Pete sees a baby he tells you in a high pitched voice, just like Pieper.
When he is doing something wrong he will lower his head and look at you from under his lashes and smile.
his laugh is very contagious.

Pieper 3 years...!!?
She is dramatic, not as much as she was last month, very excited about that progress!
She is starting to have more interest into what she wears, I am sure this will become stronger when she is in her own room!
She will always pick up Pete's fork when he throws it on the floor.
Has already figured out all of the new locks in the house.
Climbs over all of the gates like her Aunt Karla used to go over hurtles, easily.
I remember the doctor asking if she talks in sentences... The answer to that is yes, she would talk all the time in one big long sentence if you let her.
she is still 'creating her own growth chart'. Very tall girl! Most clothes are 5T that fit, especially pants.
Loves to sing. In a conversation with my sister not so long ago she mentioned how her child broke out in song for no reason... Happy child that sings!
Likes to get up in the morning and go sit on the deck with puppy in a chair and finish waking up.
Can mostly buckle herself in and out of the car seat... #!*
likes to help me dig in the dirt.
Still struggles with being 'soft' with Pete.
likes to pretend, this week it is all about castles but at least once a day she is a doctor.
Wants to help with everything.
She knows all of our names, where daddy works and who all of her cousins are and where they live. She has know that for some time but would sometimes wold get mixed up, now she will correct me, for some reason sometimes I call Jacob her uncle... Silly mommy Jacob is my cousin! Silly mommy.
I think the thing that gets me the most is when she randomly acts like you dream... ie; Thank you mommy, here let me help, thank you mommy, I went potty all by myself!!

What is new with you?
We have moved as you all know.
We do not have our computer hooked up, it will not be for some time, our list of must do's is very long indeed... and after having this silly IPad for almost two years my husband shows me TODAY how to make it work on the blog. Thank you husband. Needless to say we are still here and doing well.
We moved into the house August 1st. We left for Iowa the following Saturday for a week and now we have been back for a week and are at last starting to get settled. The move was as to be expected, insane. Mom says no matter how hard you plan and how ready you are it is always crazy at the end and it was but as I am sure you have all moved more than once in your lives with or without little children who are ever ready to help I will spare you the torrid details, suffice to say we are in and glad to be here despite the challenges!
The Iowa trip was not as relaxing as some have been in the past but such a re-charge to see family and friends that it is always well worth the trip. We went to the zoo, the emergency room(my first trip) and the state fair so we were busy. Can you believe we had the utter joy of seeing Stacey, Matthew, Alex, Eleana, and new baby Blake at the zoo and the fair not to mention just stopping by at the house, how fun was that? The first two unplanned! A person forgets how little a three week old baby is...
Husband took the babies to Grandma and Grumpy's house and I was able to have a girls night out... I will not tell you how long it has been since I had one of those, stress free, it is shameful. I was sorry to miss those of you who couldn't come but dinner at Bravo is never disappointing! Thanks ladies!!!
As always being home with Mom and Dad is such a treat, waking up in the very early AM and listening to Pete talk to the cows while sitting on Grandpa was one of those memories that will last. Having all of Pieper's and Peter's cousins come to stay with Grandma and Grandpa to see us is a treat!
Hello, the Iowa state fair!!! So love being able to go, I didn't even know I missed it as much as I did!
Okay... The emergency room visit, Pieper's elbow was disconnected so the doc put it back in no problem, I think all and all I did very well that day as we went right back to the zoo and didn't leave until around three. Side bar here, We even were able to go to Atlantic Fest, my how the car show has grown! Let's not forget I also golfed! Holy buckets it has been since the wedding reception! It is hard to golf when you are prego people!
We are settling in to getting those projects on the house done for now with many years of projects to go. We are excited. We have chickens next door that roam through the yard twice a day which the kids love and we have had turkeys (7) and a muskrat and fox that we have seen and a deer that ate our deer resistant hosta by tracks only do we know it was a deer, birds, frogs and squirrels are a given. The one bad thing... I think my tomatoes are in shock as we haven't had any since we moved but after all next year is another year!! ;) I promis to have posts of nothing but pictures when we get our computer hooked up!

free things!
We moved. So we have a new cable package... They sent us a free Kindle Fire! While I think this is fantastic the fact remains that we must be paying way too much for our cable! ;)
But hooray for free tablets!!! Now we have one for each child IF the need arises!
