Fishing

 First time my kids went fishing around water...Pete thought the fountain was too loud.

 We are fishing on one of the golf courses in town.

 Telling  Isaac what he thinks about fishing... After he caught a fish he came running at me "Mommy, I just love fishing..."

 Trevor caught the first fish, Pete said "You sure do know how to catch fish good"

 I think this was Isaac's third fish on the day... Pete is explaining how the fish got out of water.

 Isaac is getting better at getting the fish off the hook but they sure did keep Grandpa running around the pond.

 He had to walk over and tell Liv how many fish Isaac has caught.

 Even Jeff caught fish!

Pieper in July

Is loving the VBS for three hours a day.  Not so fun for the rest of us as she is tired when she comes home... preview for the fall with all day kindergarten.
Tells Peter she wants 'alone time'
Wants to build a house in the wood behind the house, by Alan and Jill (our builders), have 6 baby girls, marry Peter and Grandma and Grandpa need to move into Lucy's house. (our neighbor)
When we picked up the last of the school supplies( amount is ridiculous) She started to pack her backpack and included band-aids in case one of her classmates got a boo boo and two sets of extra clothes in case she needed them...
Is very much a little mother, much to Pete's dismay.
Likes to draw.
Always takes pictures with our phones.
Will only practice the alphabet one time a day, will let you know if she has already done it once.
Would like to learn how to read but does better with this when Jeff talks about it rather than me.
Is still off the charts for her height.  Now the nurse and doctor laugh instead of getting concerned. (that is a relief!)
At her five year appointment she answered all of the doctors questions liked she had been coached.  Made me look pretty good, except "we don't always wear our bike helmet in the driveway"... I know 'Aunt Leelan' just fell over...
Would like to be a doctor for kids or animals...this was said after she had been given two shots...she said, through the tears, it would be much better to be giving the shots rather than getting them.
Will sometimes act very silly because Pete does...
Is starting to not eat a lot of meat.
Is the leader when it comes to play time at home but I don't think that is the case when she leaves the house.
Slight obsession with girls of teenage age she knows; Olivia, Caroline, and Jessica(Daughter of one of her teachers)
Is very excited to start school in August.

Peter in July

Wants to stay little.
Will find candy I forgot I had.
Climbs...climbs...climbs...
Get stuck sometimes.
Will always pour Pieper's drink into his glass to drink it...you can imagine how this goes over with Miss Pieper.
Will sometimes go play quietly in his room.  Of course the room is then destroyed.
Will tease Pieper if he can.
Likes to help in the kitchen.
Has the best pout face I have ever seen.
Loves sharks and dragons.  Will cry if one gets hurt in movie or book.  They don't die in this house they just go to sleep so they can come back to read the book or see the movie again next time...
Will ask before he drinks out of my glass but will then drink the whole thing.
Is often hungry but won't eat what is made...he is a nutella, strawberry, snacking boy. He also likes fresh bread, he will run away with the loaf right out of the oven if he can, I have found him sitting on his bed with the loaf in his mouth.
Likes to draw with chalk on the walls...I should be happy it is just chalk!
He likes to color, spiderman is the favorite book right now if he is not drawing Maleficent.
Words I would like to remember: Yellow, Maleficent, Spiderman, Chocolate, Mom, Mamma, Pieper, Jeffery, flower mountain(hill in the back yard)
Mommy, I have to tell you something...
He rides his bike up the mulch by the rock wall to get into the back yard.

Loves being a turtle!
