I sent them outside to get some rain... This was not the storm that moved through last night, just a little rain by the time it reached us...we have no leaves left on the trees....

Scaring Daddy.

The kids waited for over an hour, being quiet inside the boxes so they could scare Daddy when he got home from work.  Jeff was late, I finally had to go get them and feed them... we did it the following night...
I can't get them to be quiet for an hour,EVER!  It was great, even though it didn't work out the first time... they were not as quiet the second try. And yes, they have destroyed the basement again but you should see the cardboard house they have down there now!

Pizza night.

We make pizza and sometimes watch a movie, pretty fun night all around.

 The sun was just on the tops of the trees... looked like the hill was on fire...  Please note the house in the background. I am amazed how many of our neighbors we can see in the winter... with all of the trees and bushes we can not see this and many others during the spring an summer.

Good morning...flower thieves...

 The doe walked right over to where my lilies are planted looking for food.  Too bad they were already frozen... HA! this is looking out our bedroom window...

 I found a frame at an estate sale... and Pieper was in the mood to let Mommy play.

Yep, the frame was pretty heavy... she did a great job.

Halloween.

 Carving Pumpkins

 Pete wanted this pumpkin to be a dragon face and as soon as it was done and lit he put his dragon down to talk to it, sat back and laughed.

 All of our many pumpkins this year... we left it like this for Halloween night and ate picnic style in front of them on the floor... huge hit. Yes, that is a Daddy smile you see.

 pumpkin muffin, ghost banana, egg and strawberry graveyard... use your imagination people!  Both kids ate the chocolate chip eyes first...

This is what I thought Pete was going to be for Halloween...When you asked him what he wanted to be he would just say "Peter Allen" everything else was "to scary"

 And then when we went trick or treating at Pieper's school he put the whole dragon on!!!! I was so excited I am surprised I even got any photos at all!  I did forget Pieper's wings...so she was just a ballerina, not a fairy ballerina.

 Trunk or treat is the best idea ever!  We were in and out in a half hour.  This was the best car there...

Kids wanted to see if the neighbors were home... they were not but they liked knocking!

 Another neighbor wanted to stop by and give the kids some candy... she had to dress for work... the kids loved her chicken...yep, she is the neighbor in the back we sometimes get fresh eggs from... :)

Yep, we made ice cream in a can... way yummy... Yes, Pete is in his pj's.

                                                      Follow the leaf blown road!  We have done this twice a week since the leaves started to fall.  Jeff usually cleans up the last road of the week on the weekend.

                                                     Helping clean up the leaves. We have two leaf blowers...and three rakes. Kids like to use both...

Will sometimes take a nap and those days it is really needed.
Has actually said. "will you stop touching me" to Peter... I laughed so hard I cried.
Still screams when things aren't going right especially if Peter is close and a possible reason.
Wanted to be a Fairy Princess Ballerina for Halloween... 2 out of 3 isn't so bad.
If I get mad she will look at me and say "I love you mommy"
Will often thank me for making a good dinner.
Rides her bike everyday.
Likes to help make the bed but not to clean her room.
Tells me how old she wants to be when she does something... When I am 56 20 I will swim....
Will tell Peter he is frustrating her and is being antagonizing. then will look at me and smile.
Loves to try to help Pete do the same things she does...even if he doesn't want to do it.
I have a friend who blogs about her kids... it cracks me up when I see some of the same things about her kids, Pieper and her oldest are about the same age.
