What is she doing now.

Pieper can crawl up on both couches, one being higher than the other because of the fold out bed, that is quite an accomplishment!

She is taking 2 almost 2 hour naps a day, great for me getting some work done but how long do these growth spurts last?

She really garbles a lot with sounds, I swear she has said puppy and bye bye but Jeff is not to sure.

Her teeth are taking it easy for a while, one broke through and since then she has been pretty calm about them.

She loves to suck the toothpaste off of the brush.

Loves fruit, will eat it first then her veggies then her meat.

She likes to 'clink' glasses and have us say cheers and drink our water with our meal!

She almost says please, sound more like eeeeee's but I will take it.

Loves to play in the bathroom, smallest room in the house but she sure can shut the door fast.

Still likes to pick tomatoes off the vine and eat them.

Likes to help water the plants, although she has started to try to put the nozzle in her mouth.

Turns circles when she dances and waves her arms, really this is so fun to watch we turn on toddler tunes every night just to see the show.

I am not quite sure why i haven't posted this before! She is really working on her teeth these past few days, wish they would come in already! Such a smile

for the few moments she would keep something in her hair!

Not Sleeping

Pieper has not been sleeping well. I am hoping it is her teeth. They are really fighting through ( I hope) The only way to calm her down is to hold her, that is not something I want her to get used to but if sure is funny what you will do at 1am and 3am. :)

More beach with Earl

Pieper also liked picking up seaweed and giving it to both of us.

Having the beach almost to ourselves was a treat, although Jeff will tell you I like to go to the water when nobody else is around, that means not the best weather and normally so cold he is zipped up in a coat as I am putting my feet in the water! I guess pre hurricane weather isn't anything to surprising! If you look at the clouds you can almost see the 'arms' of the hurricane. They were a little easier to see earlier in the day but you can still see some 'lines'.

We went to the beach last Friday when Earl was supposed to be in town, not very many people there and nobody laugh when you see the 'waves' but this is about as ruff as I have seen the sound!

Pieper loved chasing the birds, picking up rocks and shells. ( she comes by that from a long line of shell and rock pickers!) Jeff was off early so it was nice he could see how much Pieper loves the beach!

Jeff had a trip to chicago to go to a cubs game and Pieper got a new coat!

Pieper has found her scream, oh boy can she scream!

She helped me do her laundry today by carrying the clothes basket to her room (empty) and back out to the living room. She only fell down once!

I have given Pieper a cookie... have I said that once? I feel a little guilty every time I do it but her face is so very cute when she sees the container come out of the freezer ( yes, I keep my cookies in the freezer, it is the only way to make them last longer than the day you make them!).

She is really working on those last four teeth, I say that with hope, she doesn't have room for many more, these are really causing sleeping problems and she is chewing on everything.

She is starting to put the shapes in the correct holes in her little bucket. Although she still does get frustrated and take the lid right off! Problem solved.

Still likes to pick the tomatoes off the vine, even if they are green... she is pretty quick when she wants to be.

She loves to run around naked, Mom says all babies do, but you almost have to catch her if she gets away!

Should I be calling her a baby?

She is getting ready to talk, more syllables than ma ma, da da, ba, ba. almost said puppy but it was early in the morning and she only did it once...?

Loves to dance

Pieper really loves to dance to the blues! She almost swings to the right beat!

KEM says she is sucking her thumb, I have not seen this yet, she chews on her fingers but that is because she is working on her teeth!

Ice cubs are another favorite.

Looks like we will be missed by Earl, just some rain and wind.

Side note, I think I may have broken my toe today. :(
