April 2nd...

Last pile of snow getting a good climb.  They sat down to get the snow out of their boots and got nervous when I saw their bare feet...they were supposed to put socks on...

 We went for a walk and lunch at a state park here in Wilton... We have spring break this week and spring is finally here!

 Imagine my surprise when we could see the sound.

 Pete sat down and started telling a very long story about all we had just seen in the woods.

 Like quite a few parks around here, there always seems to be an old foundation, this one is from the 20's, the park is the site of the first rock quarry in the state.

Someone was too cool to take off his shades....but he did sit for a photo!

Peter March 4!!!!

Jeff Sneezed this morning and while walking into his room he says 'Bless you Jeffery'.
Is making his speech teacher crazy happy with how fast he has improved after ear tubes.
Really likes school.
Says he will do a lot of things when he is 'five', like pick up his room...
Ate some mashed potatoes for the first time... "what do they taste like?" me " french fries"
"Oh! They are really yummy" , yes Pete I have been telling you that for two years....
Loves the snow.
Likes to try to practice his letters like Pieper...for  about two minutes.
Favorite toy: Spinning ninja turtle
Favorite book: Sharks
Favorite food: Blueberries
Favorite song: All about  Swimmy sung to all about that bass...
Likes all things 'right'  and I think he may be left handed!! :)
Thinks everything will 'take forever' if he doesn't want to do it.
Likes to fight with Daddy...
Runs and screams from Pieper if she is making a funny face or growling, she is scaring him...
Is still pretty picky at the table.

Set up Leprechaun traps again this year.  This time the leprechaun tried to get in all of her traps, she was very excited that morning.
Always wants to do play dates... I am not a good play date mom.
Loves to read and gets really excited when she reads some of our books from home vs the books she brings home from school.
Is ready for spring.  We had more snow this morning and she was wanting to see flowers.
Knows all but two of her sight words.
Loves to wear dresses.
Her feet grew again.
Wants 'private time' away from Pete, especially when her tries to give her hugs...
Likes it when I ask her to 'watch' Pete for a second...
Loves to go to school.
Likes a boy named Jimmy in class, I think it because one of her friends does also.
Wants to go to Disney Land.
Likes math, to her Daddy's joy.
Is still a good helper.
Figured out if she replaces the trash bag with two or three bags at one time she doesn't have to do it every time I take the trash out... smart cookie.
