A moment of spare time... quick peek at the House!

This is the house on the day of the walk through.  We have an architect, plans and a builder ... we thought we could move right in and live for a while but that changed rather quickly to gutting the entire first floor to re-insulate and put up new drywall..

This is the house after phase 1 of many of our construction. New siding and all new windows except for the bay and one of the sliders.  The guys doing the work were great and professional, job well done.  We do have most of it painted today but I am waiting for warmer weather to get the rest done and then you will see what color it is... suspenseful isn't it?. The area around the door will be changed during Phase 2 so yes you see some house wrap there, Jeff will take care of that before the snow flies... :) I just realized it really doesn't look that much different in the picture but trust me in person the improvement to the house is huge! ( and so much warmer!!)  By the way... all of the trees you see... yep they are ours and yes, I have raked three times already... :)
