Mom, Karla and I (when I am around) have always taken all of the kids to the zoo. A much enjoyed tradition. This year Mom was kind enough to stay home with Pete.
Olivia and Isaac rode with Pieper, it was a warm day but we also had just walked through the water spray to cool us off so we are not as hot as we look!
The copper hippo was very hot but the kids couldn't resist! I think Karla has a picture of everyone...

A true Marilyn Monroe moment... unplanned, if only I would have had a dress on her that day!
She loved seeing the gorillas.
